Beyond Einstein – Relativity Violations

A video by the Physics Department of Indiana University regarding new theories in general relativity and an introduction to the  Standard Model Extension (SME) and relativity violations.

Scientists have been trying to combine all the known forces and particles into one unified theory, ‘ the theory of everything’, and some
scientists have been investigating the possibility that relativity’s postulates provide only an approximation of the Universe’s workings. The vision is that small relativity violations might offer the first experimental signs of the long-sought after ‘theory of everything’.
