Pluto Is the Largest Object in the Kuiper Belt – NASA

NASA’s New Horizons mission is just one day away from its closest encounter with Pluto and astronomers have already found out that Pluto is larger than they previously thought. With its diameter of 1,473 miles (2,370 kilometers), Pluto is larger than Eris, which makes Pluto the largest object in the Kuiper Belt.
