Two Galaxy Clusters Collide and Generate a So-Called “Radio Phoenix”

By using data from different systems of telescopes, scientists detected a “radio phoenix”, an electron cloud that radiates at radio frequencies. This phenomenon has emerged when one galaxy cluster slams into another, in this case, Abel 1033, which is 1.6 billion light years away from Earth.
