ESA Released the Image of Mars’ South Pole and Its Ice Cap

ESA’s Mars Express spacecraft has captured beautiful images of the Martian South Pole, where we can see its ice cap, made of frozen water and carbon dioxide. This image is taken on a summer season on the Red Planet. In winter, its ice cap becomes larger and reaches the diameter of 350 kilometers.
