Planets, Constellations, and Events in the March’s Night Sky
During the following month, Jupiter will reach the place of so-called opposition with the Sun. It is a pretty rare phenomenon that enables us to see Jupiter in all its magnificence. Namely, when Jupiter and the Sun occupy the opposite ends of the straight line with the Earth somewhere between them, Jupiter will appear as larger and brighter than we can usually see. It is the perfect opportunity to watch this beautiful planet through the lens of a telescope.
