A New Look at the Horsehead Nebula

Using the Hubble Space Telescope, the Very Large Space Telescope, the ESO Visible and Infrared Survey Telescope for Astronomy (VISTA) and the Digitized Sky Survey 2, scientists have revealed an astonishing image of the Horsehead Nebula. The Nebula is 1,500 light-years away from the Earth and is located in the Orion constellation. It is also famous by its unique shape.
