The Dawn Vesta Mission
– “For You to Enjoy And Share With Friends” –
Nasa’s Dawn mission is to study the Asteroid Vesta and then move on to study the Ceres the biggest asteroid in the asteroid belt. Dawn has now finished its exploration of Vesta and is moving on for another year long study, this time of Ceres.
Dawn is expected to reach this 950km-wide body in early 2015.
