Scientists Discovered the Great Valley on Planet Mercury

Using the NASA’s MESSENGER spacecraft, scientists have discovered the Great Valley on Mercury. According to them, the valley could appear as a result of the global contraction. This contraction might be responsible for shrinking of Mercury’s silicate surface.
