ALMA Captured Triple Star System at the Moment of Its Birth

Using the Atacama Large Millimeter/ submillimeter Array (ALMA) in Chile, a team of astronomers has captured a moment of birth of a triple star system. The rare system is located in the Perseus molecular cloud and is about 750 light-years away from our planet.
