A New Image of a Tidy Neighbor of the Milky Way

By using ESO’s Very Large Telescope, astronomers have taken a new image of a dwarf galaxy, a so-called ‘tidy neighbor’ of the Milky Way. The tidy galaxy is also known as IC 1613 and was spotted in 1906 by Max Wolf, a German scientist. It lies in the Cetus constellation and is 2, 3 million light-years away from our planet.
