A Small Dwarf Star Has an Extraordinary Powerful Magnetic Field
By using the Atacama Large Millimeter/ submillimeter Array (ALMA) radio telescope, scientists have detected a red dwarf with one-tenth of the mass of our Sun that possesses an unusually powerful magnetic field. The strange star, called TVLM 513-46546, is the part of Boots constellation and is about 35 light-years away from the Earth.
