Close Encounter with Pluto – NASA

After 9 years of travelling, NASA’s New Horizons spacecraft is preparing to encounter Pluto on January 2015. The closest approach has been expected to happen on July 2015, when the New Horizons spacecraft reaches the closest distance to Pluto – 10.000 km. The first intensive campaign of photography is scheduled for January 2015.
