Dark Side of the Moon Is Finally Visible

This video shows us the sequences of images taken by the Earth Polychromatic Imaging Camera (EPIC) on the Deep Space Climate Observatory (DSCOVR) satellite. The satellite was orbiting between the Sun and the Earth, on July 16th, when acquired an ideal position to capture the dark side of the Moon. This Moon’s side has been never visible to us, and that makes this video so rare.
