What Was There Before The Big Bang?

The question of what caused the Big Bang is one of the most difficult facing humanity. This video was made a few years ago however while very difficult to understand Scientists now claim that mathematically it can be proven that the Big Bang can have come from nothing. So could there have been something before then?
