New Image of Jupiter’s Moon Io Reveals Lava on Its Surface

Scientists have used an opportunity of the moons’ alignment and caught giant lava on Jupiter’s moon Io. Namely, Io is one of the most active bodies in our solar system. Its volcanic activity produces about 6 volcanic explosions each day.
