New Study Reveals Complexity in the Milky Way Structure

According to new research, the size of the Milky Way is 150.000 light years instead of 100.000, as was thought before. Another scientific survey has, also, shown that the Milky Way has a complex structure. Its disc shape has not regular form; it is, in fact, corrugated.
