A quite spectacular time lapse video of our Planet created with photos and video from the ISS by 18 year old Tomislav Safundžić. This video offers a spectacular view of our planet, and the stars, as well as parts of the ISS. The background music is ‘Intro’ by XX which I’m sure you agree makes this a truly hypnotic experience. Well done young man!

The ISS orbits Earth at an average height of about 250 miles and travels at around 17,500 miles per hour, which is standard Earth orbit velocity. It makes approximately 16 orbits around the Earth every day and over the last 12 years or so has accumulated masses of images and videos.
