Unusual Mid-Size Black Hole

Using NASA’s Rossi X-ray Timing Explorer (RXTE) satellite, scientists revealed an intermediate-mass black hole in the center of the Messier 82 galaxy. The mid-size black hole is located 12 million light-years away from the Earth and is 400 times size of our Sun.
